Information we collect
If you join the beta, we collect your name, email address, bike, phone platform and registration date. If you contact us, we collect your name, email address, chosen contact area, subject and message. The feature poll stores your selected answer and any optional idea you type, but it does not ask for your name or email address. Essential technical services may also process IP address, browser and security-log information needed to serve and protect the site.
Why we use it
We use beta details with your consent to manage early access and send relevant beta updates. We use contact details to reply to your request, and use anonymous poll answers and limited technical information for our legitimate interests in improving and securing the Studio. We may also process information where necessary to meet a legal obligation. We do not sell personal information or use it for automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
Who we share it with
We use carefully selected website-hosting, database, email and security providers to run the service. They receive only the information needed to provide their part of the service. We may disclose information where the law requires it or where it is necessary to protect the service and its users. Some providers may process information outside the UK using an applicable adequacy decision or appropriate contractual safeguards.
How long we keep it
We keep beta details while testing is active and normally for no more than 12 months afterwards, unless you ask us to remove them sooner. Contact messages are normally kept for up to 12 months after an enquiry closes. Anonymous poll answers are kept only while useful for product planning, and technical logs only as long as reasonably needed for security and troubleshooting. We may keep limited records for longer where tax, accounting or another law requires it.
Your choices
You can withdraw beta-email consent at any time. Depending on the circumstances, you may also ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or a portable copy of your information. Email neil.blakeman@twoskintstudio.co.uk. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Children
The beta is not designed to collect personal information from children under 13. Anyone under 18 should have permission from a parent or guardian before joining.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising cookies. The poll uses one essential cookie to remember that your browser has already voted. Essential technical services may also process basic request information needed to serve and secure the site.
Keeping information safe
We use access controls and reputable service providers to protect information. No online service is completely risk-free, so please do not send passwords, payment-card details or unnecessary sensitive information through the contact form or by email.
